My dad has recently become a resident at one of your care homes. He has been quite distressed. The staff have been and are amazing! They show understanding, kindness, compassion and are very welcoming to us, his family.
I would like to commend Trecarrel on the excellent level of care given to my Mother. All the care givers are so professional, and the senior staff go above and beyond. I have always been made so welcome and, very much feel part of the Trecarrel family.
Trecarrel Home has excellent facilities. Modern, light and airy. The staff go above and beyond their duty. Every staff member was polite and professional. They gave the home a 'homely' feel. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Cannot praise them highly enough. The catering was exceptional. Well done to you all.
From the moment you enter Trecarrel you feel at ease. The staff are all friendly and professional. The menu is amazing and varied. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy. There is always something to do, I would recommend Trecarrel to anyone!
I am thankful that my mother was able to become a resident of Trecarrel for the last 4 and a half years. I have always been relieved when visiting that she is so well cared for by all the carers and staff, who are genuinely pleased to be looking after her.
Clean, friendly home with kind, attentive staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Senior staff are on the ball, if there are any medical issues they are always dealt with quickly and we are always notified. So we have no worries about our loved one's care.
We have always been given a warm and welcoming visit. There seems to be a calm and caring atmosphere here. We can see our friend has been well looked after.

Here at Trecarrel Care Home we aim to treat all residents as individuals and provide a place where people are valued, safe and cared for.
Trecarrel Care Home is registered for 44 residents with varying degrees of dementia. We have 26 rooms with en-suite facilities.
Residents are always encouraged to personalise their bedroom with personal belongings. All rooms have a call bell system and a number of rooms have a dual pressure mat and call bell system, for those who may need to alert staff they are needing assistance in the night time.
Our care assistants are highly trained and we have a diverse care team with a great deal of experience working in elderly care. We specialise in residential dementia care, provided within a warm, comfortable homely atmosphere, filled with laughter.
There are two communal lounges one situated on the Poppy Wing and one on Sunflower Wing and we enjoy extensive outside, secure garden areas.

Events & Activities
At Trecarrel we have a dedicated Health and Well-Being co-ordinator who tailors activities around our residents needs and wishes. Within our care plans, we construct a life history and build activities best suited to this.
These activities take into account, previous occupations, hobbies, life experiences as well as the needs of the particular resident and where they are now. We strive to create a programme of stimulating and meaningful experiences which will enhance our residents’ day to day living.
Our Menu
We work with award winning Apetito to deliver nutritional, balanced and delicious meals.
Eating and drinking is an important part of everyone’s daily life. In our Home, we cater for all diets and aim to make mealtimes enjoyable and social occasions. Our kitchens are supplied by Apetito, award winning specialists in catering for the care market, whose recipes are developed by expert chefs, nutritionists, and dieticians to develop dishes that not only look and taste fantastic but are meeting the dietary and nutritional needs of all our residents.
Trecarrel offers three substantial, well-balanced hot meals daily. All of our meals can be tailored for special dietary requirements.
Breakfast – Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 am. We have both cooked and continental breakfasts available each day.
Lunch – Our lunch is served from 12:15 pm daily. Our menu varies based on the season and preferences.
Evening meal – This is our last meal of the day and this is served from 16:30pm. We have various choices from lighter hot meals, soup and sandwiches.
Fancy a brew? Then keep a look out for our tea trolley with a selection of biscuits, cakes and other homemade snacks. This popular trolley will be around at 11 am and 15:00 pm. But don’t worry, you are always welcome to a snack and a cuppa whenever you wish.
We also have water, squash, juices and hot chocolate available too!
